seriousfun rocks london!

SeriousFun Rocks London!By Julia Harris, Director of Events and Major Gifts

It was a night to remember at SeriousFun’s first ever gala in London. Legendary front man Roger Daltrey from The Who commanded the stage as he belted out new songs, as well as classic rock anthems. Pop sensations James Blunt and Kate Nash delighted the audience with their soulful and colorful hits. The show included special appearances by award-winning actress Keira Knightley, French film and theater star François Cluzet and the Fiddler on the Roof himself, Topol. But the real stars of the show were our SeriousFun campers, who dazzled and amazed with impressive performances and moving tales from camp!

Gala honoree GSK was acknowledged for its longstanding commitment to camps across Europe. On hand from GSK to receive the award were senior executives Luc Debruyne and George Katzourakis.

The evening raised more than £600,000 to benefit SeriousFun camps and programs around the world. We are so grateful to all of our supporters!
